If you are looking for something specific, please feel free to give your case supervisor a call. Mailings we receive about community resources and events are posted up on the bulletin board in the office, as well as updated on the on-line calendar we maintain with the help of in-office volunteers.

      Information on De Facto Parent Status, Information forms for Caregivers to submit information to the Court, contact information for local and statewide foster parent licensing, Humboldt County Child Welfare Greivance and Problem Resolution Forms, and contact information for local foster family agencies.

      Checklists developed by the California Administrative Office of the Courts, information from the California Foster Care Ombudsman, and youth friendly materials describing the rights of youth in foster care.

      CASA of Humboldt's Educational Advocacy Manual is available in PDF to download which includes useful tips for anyone advocating for a child to receive services in the school systems.
